Bear and Chook are coming!


Here’s the perfect stuffed polar bear (below), which our teacher-librarian, Mr McLean, found during the school holidays to play the role of “Bear” in some online activities about the children’s picture book “Bear and Chook”:


The bear is the perfect scale for Mr McLean’s battery-operated chicken (below), who’ll be standing in for the character of “Chook”:


The “Bear and Chook” series book rap commences in Term 4 (for students in Early Stage 1 and Stage 1), but Stage 2 students will be doing some exciting “Bear and Chook” blogging and wiki activities in Term 3! Please watch this space!
